contact center solution

A modern contact center, for Nextcloud or standalone.

Velio brings calling, queues, dashboards, call recording and reporting together in one platform. Integrated with your Nextcloud workplace, or entirely on its own — set up and managed without a telephony specialist.

use cases

One platform, two ways of working.

The same foundation — queues, routing, real-time overview — works just as well for a contact center with multiple agents as for a single operator console keeping watch over everything.

multiple agents

Contact center

Queues, IVR and routing across a team, with real-time dashboards for the supervisor and historical reporting afterwards.

single seat

Operator console

Oversee and handle every incoming line, status and call from a single screen — without needing a whole team to do it.

setup

Set up a contact center without a telephony specialist.

"Set up a queue, IVR and team step by step — yourself, in a few minutes."

The Lite Builder guides you through every step: from team and staffing to queue strategy and opening hours. No scripts, no separate configuration files — just a clear sequence that makes sense.

  • Choose a queue strategy without technical knowledge
  • IVR choices and routing in the same flow
  • Test directly via the preview, before it goes live

operate

Simple for the agent, full visibility for the supervisor.

One workspace to make calls and help people. One dashboard to see how the team is doing — live, without needing to refresh.

measuring

Reporting that answers a question.

"Not: which metrics do you want to tick. But: what do you want to know?"

velio · historical reporting
The reporting page in Velio with four topics: contact center, queues, people and custom, plus an entry point to look up a single conversation.

Pick the subject — a contact center, a queue or a person — and the matching numbers are ready for you. No list of loose components to assemble a report from yourself.

What gets counted matters more. Service level and abandoned calls are measured only over the calls that actually reached the queue. Someone helped by the menu, or who ran into a closed message, never waited for anyone — so they don't belong in a reachability figure.

  • Click through from any number to exactly those calls
  • Compare with the previous period, in percentage points
  • "Not measured" is never quietly turned into a zero
  • Phone numbers masked by default, in exports too
capturing

Call recording, with the GDPR route built in.

"Recording is the easy part. It's what you're allowed to do with that file afterwards."

Recording is switched on or off per contact center, with an announcement before anything is captured. If the caller objects, the recording stops and what was captured disappears. The agent handles that with one button, mid-conversation.

Transferring changes nothing about the agreement: if the call was being recorded it stays that way — and if it wasn't, no recording starts at the next colleague either.

  • Pause and resume during the call, with a reason
  • Retention per contact center; removed automatically after that
  • A dedicated encrypted disk, separate from the database
  • Play back and export within your own authorisation
your own data

Control over your own data.

"Your recordings and voicemail on a Nextcloud you manage yourself — under your own control. Choose per component."

By default, recordings and voicemail live on the Velio server. Prefer them on storage you hold yourself? Connect your own Nextcloud — with your own backups and your own retention policy.

Every recording is always written locally first and only then moved to your Nextcloud. If Nextcloud is temporarily unavailable, the recording waits and nothing is lost. Spoken announcements and menus always stay local — they play live during a call.

  • Recordings and voicemail switched on separately
  • Moved once the upload is confirmed, local copy cleaned up afterwards
  • Announcements and prompts always stay local
  • Connected via a dedicated service account, password stored encrypted

🔐

MFA & audit trail

integration

Part of a broader, European digital workplace.

Velio isn't meant to be an isolated system. OIDC lets you sign in with your existing identity, directory search keeps colleagues in sync, and presence status stays aligned — so your contact center connects to the workplace you already use, instead of sitting next to it as a separate system.

With Nextcloud, we're working toward that same idea: a digital workplace hosted in Europe, built with software developed in Europe.
